Professional Development History
My professional development history as a TRT is a bit different to regular teachers. I’m often in schools on the days that the teaches are out training, and I’m almost never working on the days that spontaneous professional development happens after school in staff workshops. My professional development isn’t guided by the aims of any school, so it’s more of a list of courses that I’ve picked that are required to keep my teaching registration, and to further knowledge in different areas.

| 2019/02/03 | CFS Basic Firefighting 1 (BFF1) | Better understanding of bushfires and how they'll behave in different conditions. It also teaches which fire extinguisher to use for which type of fire. The course ran for two and a half days. It relates to standard 4.4 for maintaining student safety but also 2.1 in content knowledge.
